1. Mrs. Ley’s April News -Congrats to Connor and Elie! They are our campers for the month. -SKILL RINGS TO WORK ON (same): -Match Rhyming words -Bee Poem “Every bee that ever was is partly sting and partly buzz.” -E-Learning is going great!! Thank you for your help and time with this new adventure. Please let me know if you have any questions.  -Summer Birthdays- If you have a child with a summer birthday and would like to celebrate it at school. Please pick a day soon and let me know. Thanks! Language Arts- We have continued to work with inferencing. When you read with your child ask them about what they have read + what they know=what they think is going to happen. Sight words to work on: up, we, on, you, yes, your, they, with, that, and keep working on was. Math- We have been working on identifying shapes, 3D shapes, and place value. Please continue to practice at ho me. Writing- We have been writing different types of poems, and we are practicing writing to a prompt. We are trying to work on staying on topic when we write. Our goal is two good sentences. Shared Experience- We have been learning about weather, kites, and how our seasons change. Check out our tornadoes in a bottle. --E-Learning will start Monday, March 3-April 14.
