Look at the maps showing various food indicators from World Mapper Focus on Europe, North America and Africa • What do the imports and exports of Fruit and cereals reveal? Why is there this pattern? • How do the vegetable and meat consumption maps compare with the population map? • How does the undernourishment map compare with the population map? What overall general pattern is there? How do you feel about this?
Describe and explain the patterns on the map.What information does the map not give to us? (what are the limitations of using country wide statistics?)
