  14. How do we name organisms? • Binomial Nomenclature • Developed by Carolus Linnaeus What is Binomial Nomenclature? • Two-name system: • First name is the organism’s genus (Always Upper Case) • Second name is the organism’s species (Always Lower Case) • Both are always Italicized or Underlined
