A Field Experience JourneyCreate a Vision as a Statement of Shared Values • Activity: • Write a word or phrase on a piece of paper that describes how you would like parents to describe your school. • Each person writes, then crumbles the paper up and throws it in the center of the table. • Each person picks one paper up and reads it out loud as written. Record key phrases. • Categorize the ideas and construct a leadership team vision for the school.

A Field Experience JourneyCreating Community – Affinity Diagram • Activity • Each person has two large sticky notes to respond to: In your professional experience, what do you see as issues or concerns regarding PLC development and implementation? • Use 3 to 7 words per note naming one PLC development and one PLC implementation issue/concern (write BIG). • All participants stick their notes to the wall. • Working as a team, group like topics with a heading. • Use these reflective ideas to address issues during team planning to create or strengthen instructional PLCs.
