  5. KALMA • There is no God but Allah, and Muhammad (P.B.U.H.) is the Messenger of Allah. • MAQSAD • Muslims believe in one, unique, incomparable God, Who has no son nor partner, and that none has the right to be worshipped but Him alone. He is the true God, and every other deity is false. He has the most magnificent names and sublime perfect attributes.   No one shares His divinity, nor His attributes.   In the Quran, God describes Himself: Say, “He is God, the One.  God, to Whom the creatures turn for their needs.  He begets not, nor was He begotten, and there is none like Him.”  (Quran, 112:1-4) • Allah (swt) helped Musa (a.s) by giving way in the water. • Allah (swt) helped Ibrahim (a.s) in the fire by making fire cold. • Allah (swt) saved Ismail (a.s) by making knife rough and not cutting his throat. • HADITH

  6. PRAYER (SALAH) • MAQSAD • Salah is the way to directly contact with Allah (swt). • We should establish salah which is a real one as Rasulullah (s.a.s) and sahaba had established. • We know Salah is farz on Muslims. Just knowing it is not enough. We should establish salah five times a day. • HADITH • We should strive to make our salah a true one as Prophet Mohammed(s.a.s) and Sahaba had established. We cant go upto that mark but inshallah our salah will become good. For this we should check whether our outer actions like ruku, sajda, etc are made properly or not and we should also check whether our inner intentions are clear or not, whether we are remembering Allah(swt) during salah or not. And our kirat should be clear. And we should read Quran properly as it is to be read.

  7. KNOWLEDGE & ZIKR (ILM-O-ZIKR) • MAQSAD • HADITH • Ilm is of two kinds one is ilm of Fazail (virtues) and the other is ilm of Masail (how a deed is to be done). • We should first know virtues of deeds, it means we should know what Allah (swt) is going to give if we do a good deed and we should also know the punishment for a bad deed. When we know this two things (virtues and punishment) then it will be easy for us to do good things and avoid sins. • Just knowing virtues of a deed is not enough, we should know how to perform a deed (Masail). For example there is Zakat, we know it is farz on Muslims. Just knowing that Zakat is farz is not enough. We must know when it will become farz. Where the money of Zakat is to be spent and where it should not be etc.. • Allah(swt) says :" Therefore, remember Me, and I will remember you, be grateful to Me and never deny Me. " (2.152) • “The one who remembers Allah(swt) is an example of living and who does not remember Allah(swt) is like an example of dead” (Bukhari, Muslim) • Muslims believe that among all the holy books God revealed holy Quran to the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.s).  • By doing Zikr of Allah(swt) we get the love and fear of Allah.

  8. RESPECT OF MUSLIMS(IKRAAM-E-MUSLIM) • MAQSAD • It means honouring our Muslim brothers and sisters. We should benefit others by sacrificing ourselves. We should never think bad about them nor we should keep jealousy about our people. (Jealousy of Muslims is haraam). • We should always love a Muslim. Today the biggest problem is lack of this quality in us. We do salaam if we have any work or else we will not even ask about a person. When all the Muslims unite inshallah that day whole world will be in the hands of Muslims as it was during the time of sahaba. • We have to respect elders and see that we become polite to others. We should have love for everyone and hate for none. We should never hate any one even a kafir for he can become a believer, but hate only their disbelief i.e. we should never follow their disbelief nor their methods. • HADITH • we have to do is pray to Allah (swt) to give the ability to respect and love everyone. Indeed everything is in Allah(swt) hand.

  9. SINCERITY(IKHLAAS-E-NIYAT) • MAQSAD • HADITH • It is our Sincerity towards Allah. What ever we do we should do only for the cause of Allah.According to Hadith “one who offers salah, fasts, or gives sadaqa to show off has committed shirk” (Musnad Ahmed). So, what ever deed we do we should remember that Allah (swt) is watching us and we are doing the deed for Allah(swt). Its very important point or quality which is to be brought into our lives. • We should check before doing any deed that am I doing this for Allah or to show off. Similarly we check between the deed and after completing the deed. • Allah (swt) give us the true ikhlas or sincerity.(AAMIN)

  10. DAWAT-E-TABLEEGH • Muslims believe in the prophets and messengers of God, starting with Adam, including Noah, Ibrahim, Ismael, Isehaac, yakoob, Moosa and dawood (peace be upon them).  But God’s final message to man, a reconfirmation of the eternal message, was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad .  Muslims believe that Muhammad  is the last prophet sent by God,as God has said: Muhammad is not the father of any one of your men, but he is the Messenger of God and the last of the prophets...  (Quran, 33:40) • The life in the Hereafter is a very real life. • This umah has been praised for this work. This is the special quality which Allah(swt) has blessed with this umah.God say:(O Muslims) You are the best of the peoples, you have been sent towards mankind, to enjoin good and forbid evil - (Al-‘Imran:110) • In comparing this world with the Hereafter, the Prophet Muhammad  said: {The value of this world compared to that of the Hereafter is like what your finger brings from the sea when you put it in and then take it out.}1 The meaning is that, the value of this world compared to that of the Hereafter is like a few drops of water compared to the sea.

  11. DEFINITION OF DUA • Dua means supplication. "Why don't they make dua (pray) to Allah for protection,“ Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). • Dua is the most potent weapon of a believer. Potent weapon in all struggles of life as well as in jihad in the battlefield. • Dua is conversation with Allah, out Creator, our Lord and Master, the All Knowing, the All Powerful. • Dua is the essence of ibadah.

  12. CONCEPT OF DUA IN THE QURAN • The first Surah in the Quran is a complete Dua

  13. CONCEPT OF DUA IN THE QURAN

  14. CONCEPT OF DUA IN HADITH • Why we have been taught to ask Allah when we need something as small as shoelaces. • We should remember the Hadith: "There is nothing more dear to Allah than a servant making dua to Him." • We should make dua at all times, not only during times of distress. The Prophet Muhammad said: "Whosoever desires that Allah answers his duas in unfavorable and difficult conditions, he should make plentiful dua in days of ease and comfort." • Also he said:"The person who does not ask from Allah, Allah becomes angry with him."

  15. CONCEPT OF DUA IN HADITH • We should make dua not only for ourselves but also for our parents, brothers and sisters, spouses and children, relatives and friends, teachers and other benefactors, and destitute and struggling Muslims everywhere. • We should pray for them for the good in this world as well as in the Hereafter. The Prophet said: "The dua of a Muslim for his brother (in Islam) in his absence is readily accepted. An angel is appointed to his side. Whenever he makes a beneficial dua for his brother the appointed angel says, 'Aameen. And may you also be blessed with the same.'" [Sahih Muslim]

  16. HOW CAN A DUA CHANGE OUR LIFE???..... • The Dua can change our life, our outlook, and our fate. But it works only for those who try sincerely and seriously to use it. • In every difficulty our first action is dua, as is our last. We ask Allah to show us the way to handle that difficulty; we seek His help in following the path He shows to us; we seek His aid in making our efforts successful. • A person seriously and sincerely engaged in dua understands exactly the relationship between himself and the Creator That is the essence of worship!

  17. CONCLUSION • The main purpose is to correct ourselves by the procedure explained above and during this process of correcting ourselves we should convey message to others with intention that it is our requirement to follow Islam and when we convey our message to others we will be first to follow it,INSHALLAH. • Its my Dua for all that Allah (swt) give us Hedaya(AAMIN).
