Data and Information Systems • Calls for Needs Assessment for Data Management, Archival and Distribution • At least biennially, the Secretary of Commerce shall • Assess the adequacy of the environmental data and information systems of NOAA; • Develop a comprehensive plan to modernize and improve the environmental data and information systems of NOAA. • Submitted to Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation and House Committee on Science and Technology
