  2. What can we expect in middle school? What can parents do over the summer to help their children be prepared? Today is a very brief overview of some resources you may find helpful.

It is not reasonable to expect to review every single thing your child has learned throughout the year! • Because you have limited time, focus on reviewing and strengthening the skills that are the basic foundational skills: • Whole Numbers • Fractions • Decimals • When students have a conceptual understanding of mathematical concepts, they are able to apply that understanding in more than one area!
