Mrs. Monacelli`s Class Week of October 14th • What we did this week: • We learned all about pumpkins! • Carved a pumpkin and counted it seeds…196 seeds total!! • Took a field trip to Glacier Rock Farms • Learned how a pumpkin grows from seed to pumpkin • We learned the letters T and I • We learned the number 5 • The class make Spooky Ghosts • We crafted pumpkins with tissue paper • Families visited for Open House Reminders Next week I will be testing your child in our language program called PALS-There will be a sub in the room while I am testing. Please donate the very small pumpkins to our class- we still need 13 more pumpkins for a project! Books We Read: Pumpkin Pumpkin Pumpkin Countdown Next Week Theme: Nocturnal Animals
