Mrs. Monacelli`s Class Week of October 28th • What we did this week: • We learned the Letter U and the number 6 • We learned about Harvest Time-Mrs. Kohl came in and talked about farming, what the machines are used for and also talked about what happens after the corn and soybeans are picked. • We made Indian Corn and learned how popcorn is made • We talked about scarecrows and why they are important and then made our own. • We learned all about Christian who was the star of the week and we got to meet his dog when his Mom came in for his special guest! • Reminders • Scholastic Book order due Tuesday Nov. 11th • In need of Classic Markers and Elmer`s glue bottles • Return permission slips for Shalom Wildlife Center by Nov. 25th. • Working on the pictures page on website-very slow process sorry for the delay! • Next weeks Star of the Week is Abby E.
