  1. Newcomers of New France Who were they? Why did they go to New France? What were their challenges? What did they do when they got there?

  2. Who were the different groups of Newcomers? There are 7 different groups that came to New France for their own reasons. First….you will be assigned to become an expert about one group of Newcomers. • Then….You will research about this group and present your findings to the class. You will answer the questions: • Who were they? • Why did they go to New France? • What were their challenges? • What did they do when they got there?

  10. You may choose to present your information to the class by: • Keynote slideshow (10-12 informative slides with graphics) • Drama/Play/Video with at least 7 minutes of information • Create a game to teach the class in small groups. It must teach and test knowledge. • A formal presentation using a poster board display and memorized information. Be ready for a questions and answer session from the class.
