Saxon Math • Research-Based development helps students grasp a deeper understanding of concepts and applications. • Precision – Based “incremental” instructional approach breaks complex concepts into smaller learning segments which are “easier to teach and easier to learn”. • Systematic instruction, practice, and assessment targets high accuracy rates.

  3. Course Grades- • Grades are determined using the following categories: - Classwork (Warm-Up & Lesson Practice) - Homework (Mixed Practice)* - Lesson Tests - Quizzes - Projects * If homework is not turned in or incomplete, students may turn in the assignment the next day for partial credit.

  4. Important Sites- • Teacher Sites (Schoolwires) - Homework, important dates for projects and tests, web links, etc. http://www.cbsd.org/Page/5144 • Parent Portal - Grades for completed assignments

  5. Parent Portal • To access Parent Portal, simply go to the Central Bucks School District website http://www.cbsd.org/Page/873 and click on this icon in the top right corner of the screen. • Enter your username and password to access your child’s information.

  6. This is the sign in screen.

  7. Click on schedule to get to your child’s classes. Then click on the class name to see the grades for that class.

  8. Each assignment will be listed with points received.
