A little insight… • World Geography is the study of land, features, inhabitants, and phenomena of the world. • In this class, we will focus on the following units: • Enhancing Geography Skills • The United States and Canada • Central America, South America, and the Caribbean • Europe ___________________________________________________ • Russia and Northern Eurasia • Middle East and North Africa • Africa, South of the Sahara • South Asia • East and Southeast Asia • Australia and Oceania

  3. Expectations: • My expectations for you are very simple: • Participate • Behave • Succeed

  4. Supplies: Everyday you must have these items: 1 in binder Loose leaf paper Folder with prongs #2 pencils Blue or Black ink pens Supplies for Class: Clorox wipes Paper towels Expo markers Dry erase spray Lysol Construction paper Pencils Crayons, Markers

  5. Expectations: Participate in class: Follow the daily agenda everyday. Complete all assignments. Give your opinions!

  6. Expectations: • Behave: You all know how you are supposed to act in a classroom! But lets review… • How do you come into the classroom? • How do you exit the classroom? • What do you do if you have an emergency? • What do you do if you have a question? • What do you do if your cell phone goes off in class? • What if you need classroom supplies? • What if you need to use the restroom? • How do you turn in assignments? • What will I do if I need your attention? • What does learning look like?

  7. Expectations: • Succeed: I expect you to be successful! I do NOT think anyone should FAIL; however, you determine your fate! • If you complete your assignments, study, and participate you will pass. If you do not, you will not pass! • Grades are earned, not given!
