Education Planoutstanding student experience • Implement understanding of Indigenous knowledges across programs, supported by institutionally accepted cultural standards (EP 2.2, 4.5) • Act on student feedback and improve student engagement with University governance and management (EP 3.1, 3.5) • Re-profile academic and non-academic service delivery (EP 3.4) • Develop approaches to diagnostic testing for improved transition and retention (EP 1.3) • Further develop work integrated learning opportunities (EP 1.2, 3.2)
Education PlanHigh quality, globally competitive programs • Continue Flagship Program development (EP 2.6) • Redevelop gifted and talented scheme and review the effectiveness of scholarship allocations (EP 1.2) • Support staff to develop online and blended offerings to build UoNline Plus (EP 4.4) • Expand support for teaching and learning professional development (EP 4.1, 4.2, 5.1 and 2.1) • Align programs with AQF and clearly demonstrate academic learning outcomes appropriate for each level (EP 2.1)
Education PlanSustainable planning of student load • Continue to develop program viability model to support strategic planning (EP 1.4 and 2.5) • Increase postgraduate load through new offerings and new markets (EP 2.5) • Improve retention and transition for student success (EP 1.3) • Review regional campus strategy to ensure sustainable delivery of educational outcomes for each of our campuses and presences (EP 2.5) • Prepare for NeW Space program mix and delivery modes (EP 2.5)
Education PlanGLOBAL REPUTATION IN EQUITY • Develop evidence base for research into improving access and attainment for students from diverse backgrounds (EP 1.1) • Recruit academic leadership and implement research program in equity (EP 1.1) • Launch new initiatives to engage strongly with national and international partners in equity (eg. Journal in Enabling Education) (EP 1.1)
