PDHPE - a definition • Personal Development, Health and Physical Education is one of the six key learning areas within the NSW School Curriculum. • It encourages valuing of self and others, while promoting physical activity in order to recognise physical, social and emotional growth.
What does PDHPE involve? Encourages an understanding and valuing of self and others Promotes physical activity Emphasises informed decision making leading to effective and responsible action Physical, social, cognitive and emotional growth and development patterns The development and maintenance of positive interpersonal relationships
