  5. Venturing Club Venturing Club is meeting in the auditorium to inform students about their programs available through Boy Scotts of America. Teachers you are more than welcome to attend the meetings also. The purpose of the meeting is to inform our students and teachers of the extended programs (venturing) available through the Boy Scotts of America and YMCA. Bring your lunch and enjoy the presentation. The presentation is the same on both days. Monday, 11/22 11:35 – 12:05 – Auditorium 9th and 10th grade Tuesday, 11/23 11:35 – 12: 05 – Auditorium 11th and 12th grade

  6. Science Bowl • Bio Club members are welcome to tryout for Science Bowl Tuesday, November 23 after school in Mrs. Siebold's room. If you are interested and have not already contacted an officer, please let Chris Peek or Alan Herrera that you intend to tryout.

  8. MLK’s Women’s Equality Club We meet every Wednesday at lunch in Ms. GoForth’s classroom, 10NW. The discussion theme this winter will be “Gender and Society.” Bring your lunch and your friends!

  10. Free Books and Library Schedule (for Tuesday, Nov. 23) There are free books available in the library. The library will be closed the following periods today: 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 7th periods

  11. Senior BABY Pictures Seniors: Please submit your baby picture for the yearbook to Ms. Hunter by Wednesday, December 1. Photos will be scanned and returned to you.

  12. Coat and Toy Drive Bright yellow flyers and banners are posted throughout the building advertising the “Annual” Coat and Toy Drive for Children. MLK is collecting coats and toys for the children. A box is located in the main foyer for donations. The deadline for donations is December15, 2010 in order to have items delivered in time for Christmas.
