  3. October 2, 3, 4, 2013 • Wednesday, October 2 drop-off by 8:45 a.m. • Friday, October 4 picked up at Rose at 2:30 p.m.

  4. October 2, 3, 4, 2013 • Students MUST be dropped off and picked up by parents, NO BUS • Notify teachers in writing if carpooling

  6. Housing • Dorm-style cabins • Shared bathrooms • Mattress provided • Bring own pillow and sleeping bag/blanket • Boys and girls housed separately • 4 – 8 students per room • Student/parent request for roommates

  10. Meals • 7 meals provided by Timber-lee • Specific dietary restrictions can be accommodated – please notify Timber-lee directly • Snacks each evening – all are nut-free • S’mores at campfire • Students are to bring NO FOOD, DRINKS OR CANDY

  12. Supplies • Use list provided • Clearly mark all items with student name • Prepare for CHILLY weather • LAYERS • No electronics • NO CELL PHONES • No extra money ($20) • Two smaller bags rather than one large one

  13. Medical Care • District nurse – Linda DiVito • Health forms MUST be filled out for each student • Medication forms MUST be filled out for all medication needed at Timber-lee • No “just in case” medications

  14. Medications • All medications (both prescription and non-prescription) MUST be in the original labeled container • Please provide only enough medication for the time at Timber-lee • All medications MUST be brought to school by the parent by Friday, September 27

  15. Behavior • Parents will be called for any student with behavior problems or illness • Student MUST be picked up immediately and may NOT return • Students are not allowed to call home – NO CELL PHONES

  16. Cost - $205 District 220 pays for: • Teacher chaperones • Nurse Student pays for: • Bus transportation • Lodging • 7 meals and snacks • Classes • Instructional materials • All activities

  17. Permission and Fees • Health questionnaire for ALL students • Permission slip • Check for $205 made out to Rose School • Returned by September 27, 2013

  18. Volunteers Needed • Luggage will return to school before students on Friday, around 1:30 p.m. • Volunteers needed to assist in the unloading of luggage at Rose • Students return around 2:30
