  2. Session Aims By the end of the session you will be able to: • analyse what kind of relationship you have with your institution or students’ association • make the case for student engagement with your institution

  3. Question What are the benefits of student engagement?

What are the benefits of student engagement? • Students are the experts as they are the ones who do every aspect of the course- no staff member can understand the interplay between each different element of the student experience • By engaging expert opinion quality can be truly enhanced • This will in turn improve satisfaction rates which will help with recruitment of potential students • Engaged students are better learners as they feel they are part of the process rather than just dumb participants
