  3. 4G-LTE vs. 3G-UMTS • LTE (Long Term Evolution) ist ein Kommunikationsstandard zur kabellosen Datenübertragung und eine Weiterentwicklung des GSM/UMTS-Standards • Wird auch als „4G-LTE“ oder „4G“ bezeichnet • LTE erhöht die Kapazität und Geschwindigkeit bei der Übertragung von Informationen in drahtlosen Netzwerken • Die theoretische Download-Geschwindigkeit istmehr als 20x schneller als bei 3G. • DWR-921 und DWR-116 entsprechen dem 3GPP Release 8, Kategorie 3. Eine Zusammenfassung der unterschiedlichen LTE-UE-Kategorie-Parameter ist hier aufgeführt: ZurVerfügunggestellt von 3GPP Release 8 standard
