  12. Programme Structure • 4 years part time • Stage 1 (2yrs) modules: • Research Methods (70 M-level), • Professional Development (50 M-level), • Project Design, Development and Management (60 D-level) • Stage 2 (2yrs): research project (360 D-level)

  13. Attendance at GCU • Year1 – January 4 days • April 5 days • September 5 days • Year 2 – January 4 days • May 4 days • Year 3 – January 2 days • Year 4 – January 2 days • (in addition students’ are supported through the VLE)

  14. Assessment • Stage 1 modules: • -Research Methods- 2 summative assessments • -Professional Development- 2 formative and 2 summative assignments • -Project, Design, Development and Management – 1 summative assignment • Stage 2: Thesis and viva
