Attendance at GCU • Year1 – January 4 days • April 5 days • September 5 days • Year 2 – January 4 days • May 4 days • Year 3 – January 2 days • Year 4 – January 2 days • (in addition students’ are supported through the VLE)
Assessment • Stage 1 modules: • -Research Methods- 2 summative assessments • -Professional Development- 2 formative and 2 summative assignments • -Project, Design, Development and Management – 1 summative assignment • Stage 2: Thesis and viva
