Current State • Due to additional donations to the Catstrophic Leave Program in prior years, the program is currently sound
Highlights • Those who donated last year & meet requirements • One time benefit-Will be able to participate with out an additional deduction of AL • Those who didn’t donate last year & meet requirements • Ability to Opt out • Automatic enrollment/AL deduction if they don’t opt out
Communications to Partners • DANS • RANS • HR Liaisons Monthly Meeting • SOM Administrators • FANGS • SOM HR Liaisons • Branch Campuses
Communications to Staff • Informational e-mail to all eligible staff - March • Opt out email - May 2nd • Only to employees who didn’t donate last year and meet program requirements • Opt out period 5/2 - 5/11
Deductions • Take place on May 20th • AL must be in bank prior to May 11th
Annual Leave Bank • AL for bi-weekly through 4/24 will be reflected on 4/25 • AL for monthly through 3/31 will be reflected on 4/29
