  1. High School Outreach 2012 Team Members: Anthony Valente (Me) John Seigel Jenny Laffer Chris Fulgencio Erica Kelly Gerard Massey

  2. Project Summary To encourage computing careers by providing print and electronic visual guides to various solutions and resources for students in the community that enable them to reach the goal of an IT/computing career.

  3. Goals to Achieve Contact schools and go visit them to talk about IT/ICT. Presentations that include examples ranging through the various educational pathways through IT/ICT. Provide a physical means of informing students as well as a visual one.

  4. Timeline TCHS- 2/3 Established contact with all schools- 2/8 Finish developing a working general presentation- 2/15 Meet with and present to at least 2 schools before- 3/1 Somewhere/when coordinate with Stars Video group

  5. Metricsby which to measure success # of schools who allow us to visit Short survey/feedback form for both students and teachers Create a FB group or some other online source to put up information on and record visits/joins, etc.

  6. Next Steps Weekly meetings Determine which schools will allow visits Divvy up who gets what schools Allow presenter to edit/modify general presentation model to suit particular specialty or focal point
