In 2005, 2-seataerostatic attractionswere put in production in Russia. Within this project the gas balloons designed and built by the Augur Aerostatic Systemswere named AU-34.
The attraction comprises a low-volume tethered gas balloons, a 2-seat paraglider suspension, and awinch placed on a special platform.
The AU-34 aerostatic complex is a variation of the multi-seated aerostatic attraction which bears the name of Aeroliftand was put into serial production by the Augur company in 2004. However the designers were initially developing an original vehicle which in the end came about sufficiently comfortable and low-cost. Such attractions are regarded as highly cost-effective all over the world.
The AU-34 attraction is adapted for transportation by car. It requires only one day to get ready for operation. TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS The attraction is equipped with safety devices of several levels, and passengersmay experience the fascination of an extreme flight without any risk.
The 10-metre envelope is a huge advertising carrier which allows enhancing the efficiency of commercial operation of the vehicle. The balloon may be also optimized for use during sporting events. While after a minor modification of the suspension, the AU-34 may become an aerial platformfor video- and TV-filming, special tasks and rescue operations,etc. The AU-34 aerostatic attraction may be operated in daytime and night-time.
