Requirements • Minimum of 7 slides (the more you can add the better-makes it interesting) • Title • Summary • Characters • Elements of Literature • Your opinion of the book (why we should or should not read it) • Pictures to represent book • Test questions for final exam
Summary • In your PowerPoint please give us a summary of your whole book. Include the following: • Exposition – plot, setting, and characters • Rising Action – action leading to the climax (problem introduced) • Climax – the big “boom” – most exciting part of the story • Falling Action – Problem being solved • Resolution – The ending
Characters • Include all vital characters. Add: • Personality/Character traits/A good quote to show it • Conflicts they may have • Your impression of who they are. (Can you compare them to anyone you know?) • What do they do for the story? What role do they play? • Which famous actor would you choose to play this character if you were to make a movie

Pictures • We need a visual image. • Go online and add some pictures to your PowerPoint. • Pictures leave mental images in our head. Give us one!
Final Exam Questions • I will include the questions from your presentations to the final exam. • Please give us 3 questions and the answer from your book. (make sure you talk about them in your presentation!) • Remember the more visual you are in your wording, the easier it will be for the class to remember your question and answer.
