Goals of Site • To integrate the blog with the rest of the site, both visually and administratively. • For students: easy access to schedule; information needed should be easily findable and schedule should have multiple modes of access. • Less centralized web administration / more user interactivity.
Task Analysis • Checking assignments. • Signing up for presentations. • Uploading deliverables. • Class communication.
Labeling Scheme • Overview conflates three sections of the old site: overview, resources, and policies. • Schedule driven by Wordpress schedule category and calendar plugin (more about this delight later…). • Specific categories which support individual page functionality (schedule, presentations, site critiques) are suppressed from appearing in the regular category flow.
