Classroom routines = harmonious environment Help students understand when things will happen and what is expected of them Expectations & Consequences • Step by step (establishing routines): • Involve students in setting them • Choose a set of routines • Discuss natural consequences • Chart routines • Conduct periodic evaluations and reset routines • Deal with students that periodically ignore routines
