Pearl Harbor - “A day which will live in infamy” President Roosevelt delivered his "Day of Infamy" speech to a joint session of Congress on December 8, 1941. • December 7, 1941, the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor and brought the U.S. into the war. • U.S. declares war on Japan and soon after Germany declares war on the U.S. • Two Fronts • European • Pacific
