Funding Regulations • Proposed changes in Feb regs not applicable in final regulations of 18 July: • IIP is no longer a criteria for claming the WSP • Equity no longer linked to WSP approval 85% 54% 4% • As per proposed regs, the final regs indicate: • Deadline 30 September for 2005/6, thereafter 30 June • WSP 2005/6 50%, Combined WSP 2006/7&ATR2005/6 50% • Grant payments made quarterly (cash flow) • NO LATE SUBMISSIONS AT ALL! except new employers • 2 formats for WSP 2005/6: 50+ employees, 50- employees • SCG 2005/6 criteria not yet available • Fasset may provide discretionary grants to non SDL paying members, Management Board to decide way FW in August 2005 • Free Skills Advisors (for all employers) from 1 April 2005. Contact call centre – only applicable to employers 50+ until 30 September 2005.
Learnerships • R25K PDI Grant PER LEARNER on a sliding scale NOW due ON CHANGED DATE 31 March 2006 (2005/6 financial year). An APPROVED WSP is a requirement. Submit yours now! • Fasset’s scope of accreditation has been extended to include the Further Education and Training Certificate: Debt Recovery Qualification (NLRD Number 49021) and associated unit standards.
