  1. Apply for DXCC Awardson Logbook of The World

  2. Congratulations! You have qualified to join the prestigious DX Century Club or reached a new DXCC milestone.

  3. Making an application for DXCC or an endorsement is easy using Logbook of The World. Just follow these easy steps through the four application screens and your DXCC diploma will be on its way.

  4. Basic DXCC rules are available on the web. http://www.arrl.org/awards/dxcc/rules.html#si

  5. Log into your LoTW user page.

  6. Select the AWARDS tab. • Select your LoTW DXCC Award Account.

  7. Select the APPLICATION tab.

  8. After checking the APPLICATION tab you will be directed to DXCC Award Application PART – 1 Here you will select the QSOs that you wish to have credited in this application. Award Application – Part 1 • It is best to CHECK ALL to receive all credits that your have earned. • Click CONTINUE

  9. Are you an ARRL member? Enter your NAME Enter the number of paperQSL cards to be included with this application. * Do not include LoTW QSLs in this box. If there are no paper cards then this number should be ZERO Where are the paper cards going to be checked? (ARRL HQ, Hamfest or convention, DXCC card checker, etc.) CONTINUE Award Application – Part 2

  10. The next screen allows you to select the awards that you are applying for. This example shows that the applicant is eligible for DXCC Mixed and Phone awards. Check the awards that you want to receive. On the lower portion of this screen you will enter your name as you want it on the award and the address to send the award. Award Application – Part 3

  11. This screen shows your total fees. (Does not include return postage for paper cards.) Fees are based on information you provided. The final total may be adjusted for errors, corrections, additions or omissions Award Application – Part 4 *If you are applying for 5 Band DXCC or wish to order a plaque use the comments box to indicate your request.

  12. If you purchased LoTW credits in advance the credits will be taken from your account for this application. LoTW QSO credits can not be used toward application fees or postage. LoTW QSO Credits

  13. At the bottom of the screen you will enter your payment. When paying by check or money order your application will expire if payment is not received in 30 days. After entering the payment information click the SUBMIT APPLICATION button. Once you have made an application you cannot submit another until the previous application is completed.   14. Your DXCC application is complete and will be processed in the order it was accepted by the DXCC desk.Select ACCOUNT STATUS to view your LoTW DXCC Account.The following screens contain information on viewing your LoTW DXCC screens.

  15. Award These are the awards that you are working towards. What do the columns mean?

  16. Selected These are the QSOs that LoTW has selected for the particular awards. What do the columns mean?

  17. Applied These are the QSOs that you have applied to the award after you have made an on-line application. What do the columns mean?

  18. Awarded These are the QSOs that have been awarded to you after your applications have been processed. What do the columns mean?

  19. Total / Current These are your totals. Total includes deleted DXCC entities. Current is only current entities. The DXCC Challenge award only counts current DXCC entities What do the columns mean?

  20. Select the APPLICATION HISTORY tab. Award Application History

  21. This shows the applications you have submitted from the LoTW system. Award Application History

  22. Status – Sent = Application sent to LoTW waiting to be processed Finished = application completed Error = Application cancelled due to errors Number of LoTW QSLs accepted. (Note: When Manually Completed by DXCC this number is zero. Time & Date stamp when application was sent to LoTW Number of LoTW QSLs in your application. (Not paper cards)
