  2. General Laboratory Etiquette • Leave the lab better than you found it! • Rinse all glassware. • Clean lens of your microscopes and return your microscopes to correct numbered positions. • Return prepared slides to the correct slide box • Wipe down work area with finished with lab.

  3. Lab Study A: Zygomycota • Examine culture of Rhizopus stolonifer using the steromicroscope. • Make a wet mount of Rhizopus and examine with compound microscope. • View prepared slide of Rhizopus stolonifer. • Examine culture of Pilobolus on rabbit dung agar • Study poster.

  6. Lab Study B: Ascomycota • View prepared slide of Claviceps. • View prepared slide of yeast Saccharomyces • Observe plate and do a Wet Mount also • Examine preserved specimen of Peziza. • Examine preserved morels. • Study poster. Also observe plate and do wet mount of Canidida (yeast)
