Lab Study B: Ascomycota • View prepared slide of Claviceps. • View prepared slide of yeast Saccharomyces • Observe plate and do a Wet Mount also • Examine preserved specimen of Peziza. • Examine preserved morels. • Study poster. Also observe plate and do wet mount of Canidida (yeast)
Lab Study C: Basidiomycota • View fresh mushroom under stereoscope. • Examine demonstration specimens of mushrooms, puffballs, shelf fungi. • View prepared slide of Coprinus. • Study poster.

Lab Study D: Imperfect Fungi (Deuteromycota) • Observe Penicillium culture (compare to Rhizopus) • Observe Aspergillus culture (compare to Rhizopus) • Do a wet mount of a mold to observe live hyphae
