Flexibility without Security: Social Classes, Family Relationships, and Gender Differences in Rome

This book examines the impact of flexibility on social classes, family dynamics, and gender differences in Rome. It includes research on social mobility in four Roman municipalities through surveys conducted in 2005/2006 and 1997, as well as qualitative interviews with flexible couples (70 interviews with couples balancing precarious work and parenting) as part of a national research project coordinated by S. Piccone Stell.
