“D” grades do not count for college! • If you plan to go directly to a 4-year college from DHS, all grades in “a-g” classes must be at least a “C” (avoid C- grades). • If students pass all classes at DHS, they will graduate with 240 credits so may repeat one class for no credit • See your counselor about options for making up D/F grades; C grades may not be improved

You will be notified in Spring of the Junior year.
CSU System: • Serves top 1/3 of high school graduates • CSU Eligibility Index= GPA + SAT or ACT- that’s all! Calculated from grades 10 and 11 only. Make sure you do not earn D/F grades in grades 9 and 12! • Minimum 3.0 automatically qualifies for non-impacted campuses • Requires SAT or ACT w/o writing • Average cost $23-25,000/year living on-campus • TAG – work with transfer counselor at CCC
CSU System • 16 of the 23 campuses are impacted, as are many majors throughout the system • Best bet is our two local CSU campuses- East Bay and San Francisco- which serve Alameda County residents
