  2. El presente código regirá la actuación profesional de todos los miembros del Colegio Oficial de Ingenieros en Informática. El incumplimiento de las normas deontológicas se considerará como falta leve, grave o muy grave según los estatutos. CÓDIGO ÉTICO Y DEONTOLÓGICO PARA INGENIEROS EN INFORMÁTICA

  4. Los/as Ingenieros en Informática actuarán de forma respetuosa ser promotores de los valores sociales establecidos. Ejercer la profesión con responsabilidad. El respeto a las personas debe llevar a los/as Ingenieros en Informática a no discriminar a ninguna por razones de raza, sexo, religión, .. CÓDIGO ÉTICO Y DEONTOLÓGICO PARA INGENIEROS EN INFORMÁTICA

  6. Promover el conocimiento general de la profesión y su aportación al bien público. No anteponer el interés propio al de la profesión, cliente o empresario.   8. Impulsar la máxima calidad a un coste aceptable y en un plazo razonable, garantizando que quedan claros los compromisos significativos al respecto.   9. Documentar adecuadamente las especificaciones del proyecto sobre el que se trabaja, asegurándose de que se satisfacen los requisitos del usuario y tienen las aprobaciones adecuadas.
