Pine Beach (Mitchell Creek Beach) in Fort Bragg, California, United States  Pine Beach, also known as Mitchell Creek Beach, is an idyllic spot located at the mouth of Mitchell Creek near the southern end of Fort Bragg. The beach features light brown sand and is situated below oceanfront bluffs with sparse vegetation. The shoreline around Pine Beach is rocky, adding to its rugged charm. Pine Beach lacks lifeguards and amenities, so visitors should plan accordingly. Despite this, the beach offers a wide range of activities including sunbathing, beachcombing, wildlife watching, fishing, swimming, surfing, kitesurfing, windsurfing, bodysurfing, boogie boarding, kayaking, canoeing, scuba diving, snorkeling, boating, and jet skiing. Access to Pine Beach is straightforward. The trail to the beach is near 16821 Ocean Drive, accessible via Shoreline Highway/Pacific Coast Highway. A free parking lot is available near the state-owned Ocean Drive Beach Access, from where visitors can walk to the trail leading to Pine Beach.
