Facts about early life • Juan was born in 1474. He married a women named Leonora. The daughter of an in keeper, he had three daughters named Juana, Isabel and Maria and one son, Luis. He was born in San Servas, Spain and he was poor as a child.
Facts about later life • Juan Ponce de Leon died on July 1521. He died because of a poisoned arrow in the shoulder. Later his remains were transferred to Cathedral of San Juan Bautista. In 1520, he took his last trip to Florida.
