Status Code Changes Question marks should no longer appear in the status code. The status code is determined by the begin liability, end liability, and reactivation dates when a record is loaded via: • TRS, EDI, or Quarter load • Alt Q • ARCS Data Entry
Address Screen Website & E-Mail Addresses have been added.
Batch Monitor Screen • If a job is >24hrs then the time is now correctly calculated • The sort default is now descending job # • Removed the secondary sort option
MWR Data Entry • Hot Keys have been added • Position is held when updating subunit record
Multi Screen • The Update Master function includes Permissions & Lock Record By-Pass • The browser repositions to the records that was selected for emp & wage update
Mass Create/Change • Invalid years or quarters are prohibited on the Mass Create/Change Screen. If attempted an error message will appear.
Micro Screen The screen has expanded to show all comments (c1, c2, c3). The current quarter codes now display correctly .
June 2004BLS Changes • TRS Load • EQUI/CIPSEA • Edit
TRS Load • The TRS Load will now update the fax # field. • An option to overwrite existing fax # has been added to the TRS Load. If the option is not selected only blank fax #s will be updated by the fax # on the TRS File.
EQUI/CIPSEA ChangesConfidential Information Protection & Statistical Efficiency Act • The EQUI 1060 Data Sharing was added to system this includes the following changes: • All quarterly data that previously had an “A” is changed to an “M” and blanked out with zeros • The following are blanked out: ARS Response Code, ARS Refile Year, ARS Verification, MWR Mail Indicator, Agent Code, Comments, PLA Date, Geocoding Software ID, Geocoding Source Code, Address/Contact Source, ARS 3rd party Agent, Email
EQUI/CIPSEA Changes, cont. • The 1166, 1060 & 724 have been renamed as shown below.
Monthly Employment Change Edit (091 & 126) • A new step (step 7) has been added to this edit • This edit occurs if • Editing first month of quarter • If it passes step 6, or if there is insufficient data to perform step 6, and has not passed any of the steps 1 through 5. • This edit tests for the following: • The absolute difference of M1c and M3p, abs(M1c – M3p) >Parm100, and • Abs(M1c – M3p) >Parm101 × M3p • Parm 100=500 • Parm 101=.10

Rearranged Screens • Removed Error Types on main screen and rearranged some of the buttons.
Look Up Screen • Consolidated F5 and Shift F5 look up screens • Added a Search button • F5 still works but shift F5 is obsolete • Added Status Code
New Micro Error Screen • Removed the Macro/Sic Screen and added a New screen for viewing errors
Macro/MSA Screen • Average Annual Employment and Average Annual Total Wages have been added • Two Sector Totals • County and NAICS code descriptions
Pred/Succ Wage Record Screen • An update pred/succ button has been added • A link option will be added to view potential pred/succ
