Classroom Management Village Values School-Wide Rules for Learning Success • #1 Refrain from behavior that disrupts learning. • #2 Listen to, and promptly follow all directions given by school staff. • #2 Think before you act. Make sure your actions will not hurt yourself or others. • #3 Take responsibility for your actions. Be honest. Be truthful. • #4 Solve conflicts with respectful, peaceful words, and actions. • #5 Attend school on time, and be prepared to learn with school books and supplies.

  14. Bathroom Policy • We MUST use the restroom at the following times: • Before school • AM recess • Lunch recess • After school • In an emergency, a student may use the restroom during class time.

  24. Parent Conferences • Monday, November 5 - Thursday, November 8. • Meet with homeroom teacher. That teacher will have access to data from the other two teachers. • Teachers will provide online link to self-schedule your visit.

  25. Volunteers Needed! • Welcome anytime • Call ahead if possible • Correcting tests/homework • Basic tutoring/Reading with students • Assembling materials • Help with art/science lessons • Copy Club • Parent Resource Center

  26. Room Parent • 1 Needed for each room • Create class roster and share with parents • Assists with parties, fundraisers, special events • Coordinates classroom volunteers • Coordinates communication between teacher, staff, parent organizations, and parents

  27. Miscellaneous • Bus – call/write note/email if there’s a change. If not, they get on bus. • Absent Notes (online too) • Cell phones off and out of sight.
