  4. New Student Interface Student Student options are displayed in a drop down box by clicking Student at the top.

  5. New Student Interface Office Office options are displayed in a drop down box by clicking Office at the top.

  6. Defaults in Office Visit Master Go to: Office – Health Records – Office Visits – Office Visit Master Click on: Defaults on right hand side

  7. Defaults in Office Visit Master -The screen below will pop up. -Adjust defaults as you want them to appear on every child you put an office visit in on. -You can manually change these if needed after starting the office visit. -Then click Save.

  8. Log Out Warning The box below will pop up on your screen if Skyward if left with out attention too long. If you see it, click OK to continue your session. If you do not click OK on the above box, Skyward will log you out and you will then see the box below. You will then have to log in again. Log out times vary by district and are set up by your technology staff.

  9. - In the Health Records area, many screens have a Quick Print button which allows you to run a report for that specific area without exiting to the reports screen. Click the Quick Print to get a list of available reports. - The screen will default to the last report ran. Quick Print

  10. Quick Print Click on the Template link (above). This allows you to add, delete or edit reports for the specific area.

  11. Managing more than 1 student • 2 ways to manage multiple students: • In Office Visit Master you can work on several students Office Visits But if you need to work on 2 different things with multiple students -Open a new window

  12. Favorites You can get to your Favorites from any screen by clicking the Favorites box. Favorites are listed on the New User Interface.

  13. Favorites Creating a Favorite: Editing Favorites: You can also delete and move favorites up and down by clicking Edit Favorites.

  14. Photos

  15. Indicators are located in the upper right hand corner of the screen. You can hover over them to see what they are. Indicators If you click them it opens up a screen, as below, that gives more information about the indicator. Teachers should be able to do this as well, but securities have to be set correctly by technology staff.

  16. Setting up Preferences: In the New User Interface screen, click on Preferences at the top. Preferences - Spell Check This will pop up this screen. Make your selections and then click Save. The reset button restores preferences to system default.

  17. Filters – Hiding voided items Voided Entries will be shown, as below, if you do not set your filter to hide them.

  18. Filters – Hiding voided items To Hide Voided Entries: Go to Filter Options, then click Add (to create a new filter) or Edit (to change an existing on).

  19. Filters – Hiding voided items • Go to Void, Change “both” in the Low Value to “Unchecked/No/Blank”. Click Save and Apply. • You can change the order that things are displayed by using the 4-sided arrows.

Customize Tabs • - Go to Students – Student Profile or Office – Health Office – Health Profile • Click on the “Customize Tabs” link • Click on one of the 4-sided arrows and then drag up or down as desired until the tab is where you want it. Continue until tabs are in the preferred order • You can also uncheck the box if you do not want them displayed at all. • Click Save.

  21. Changing Entities Changing Entities: Go to top of page, Click the arrow and choose from the drop down box. *You must have security rights/permission to access this function.
