Instrument Status • On/Off Cycle: 26 • Hours On: ~56,000 hours • Continuous operations since 1/15/2005 (probe relay) • HDAC Filament Modulation: • Filament 1: 100.28 hours • Filament 2: 12.22 hours • Last: 2006/255 UVIS TEAM MEETING 1/2007
FSW Status • No Changes since last meeting • Old ISA • ISA Z70771 • Fixed by FSW patch in C24 • Fixed by FSW V1.3 starting C31 • ISA Z86939 (bad EUV data in S11 icylon) • Probably FSW problem • Workaround by updating the instrument setup • That is if we don’t forget to use the updated setup (UVIS_026RH_STARE001_PRIME) UVIS TEAM MEETING 1/2007
GSW Issues • Problem with HSP data set • Duplication of the first record when the data set was created due to data loss • Data has been re-ingested • Time error in DAPS metadata (start time) • Caused by the correct clock kernel not being ingested • Time information has been re-written UVIS TEAM MEETING 1/2007
Operational Issues • UVIS_026ST_ALPVIR002_PRIME (T16) • Incorrect pointing dead band requested • (2.0, 2.0, 2.0) vs (0.5, 0.5, 0.5) • Check has been added to our checklist • ISA Z89032 UVIS TEAM MEETING 1/2007
Planning/Sequencing Issues • No DSN allocation until late in the sequence development • No sponge bit • It is difficult for us to participate to the R/T sponge bit • S27 may be the first time we will be able to do some of it • RBOT analysis • JPL is trying to minimize the time the RW are under 300 rpm • Late pointing design modification • S27: UVIS_037ST_UREPSLUP001_PRIME - Added +20 degree rotation around Y axis • S28: UVIS_040ST_URTHEARA001_PRIME - Added a +70 degree rotation around Y axis UVIS TEAM MEETING 1/2007
Data Corruption (ISA Z89728) • First reported on 2006/336 • Probably caused by 1 to 4 faulty sub modules on SSR-A • Consequences: • Corrupted packet header (JPL and instruments can filter that via ground processing) => data gap • Corrupted science header => data gap • Has caused the L0 processing software to crash • May be able to filter that via ground processing. • Corrupted science data • Impossible to filter during L0 processing • Trying to query JPL database around time of data corruption • Not always successful. UVIS TEAM MEETING 1/2007
Example of corrupted data • UVIS_034RI_0PHASE001_VIMS: record #3 UVIS TEAM MEETING 1/2007
Example of corrupted data • UVIS_034RI_0PHASE001_VIMS: record #4 UVIS TEAM MEETING 1/2007
Data Corruption • Working around the corrupted data • Time consuming • Trial and error • Example: UVIS_036RF_FMOVIE001_VIMS • Data from 2007-005T23:31:41 to 2007-005T23:56:41 was not ingested. UVIS TEAM MEETING 1/2007
Notes on DAPS IDL routines • You should use the ICY version of convert_sclk.pro • Make sure that you use the last clock kernel (cas00102.tsc) • If you need to use the old version of convert_sclk.pro it is up to date on the UVIS team site under the name of old_convert_sclk.pro (“version 1.2” appears on the header of the file) UVIS TEAM MEETING 1/2007
