  2. Basic Structure • Major groups: • RFQ Injector: 2101 tasks (as have been in use) • PIP Management: 2103.00.01 • PIP Linac: 2103.01.xx.yy.zz • PIP Booster: 2103.02.xx.yy.zz • Note also that each code is cloned for different divisions (AD, APC, PPD, TD) • Example: Booster PIP RF New RF Tuners Fabrication • 2103.02.01.06.03.AD • 2103.02.01.06.03.APC • 2103.02.01.06.03.PPD • 2103.02.01.06.03.TD • Use the appropriate division • If your division doesn’t exist, ask Bob Z to get one setup (through Anne) • Translating to Org Chart • Some items fit exactly • Some codes act for several boxes • Some boxes have (or will have several codes) • Codes are setup for FY12 work • Pick the most appropriate code

  5. PIP FY12 M&S Changes will occur as issues are worked on and solutions are found. This is just our starting point but we will start to spend based upon this FY12 outline.

  6. UPDATES1kW Amplifiers, Grid Bias Supplies, SSD Relay Rack Work • One 1kW module has been built and tested • Heat sink jig is fabricated, assembly has begun on 2 modules • Most of the cables, interconnects, chassis assembly has been done • Transformers need to be constructed. Takes a day to fabricate cables and solder to the board. Add additional half-day for output combiner board transformers (construction) and assembly. • 16 Grid Bias Supplies have been built • 2 have been tested good. The other ones are in the process of being tested. • The remaining 4 are almost complete, waiting on some hinges to be ordered to complete the chassis assembly. • We’ll be ok with the supplies we have built up so far for awhile. • No significant work done on SSD relay racks. • Need assistance, we simply don’t have enough people for this.

  7. SS Driver Schedule Updates – Continued • 1 kW SSD Amplifier module • Ideally, wanted 1 built and tested by 8/31/11. This took much longer to calibrate and was completed by 10/14/11. • 12 hours to construct, assemble ferrites on amplifier boards. • Would like to have 4 more units built by 11/09/11. • By late December, should have 15 built. A little behind from the 20 I wanted. • 2 techs working part-time on heat sink assembly. • Grid Bias Supplies • 16 have been built, the rest will be finished on 10/21/11. • Testing should finish by 10/31/11. • Overestimated assembly and testing time. Wanted 10 units by 1/1/12! • Techs can be freed to assemble Screen Current Power Supplies, SSD Relay racks, etc. • SSD Relay Racks. • RF techs are already stretched out as it is, assistance is needed for this. • One person full time on this would give us a relay rack by 11/10/11. • Until we have someone working on this full time, we won’t have any racks built! • May only have 11-12 racks by end of 06/12.

  8. Updates - Continued • RF Station Repair: • Cavity 8 is out at MI60 • There is/was a vacuum leak on the downstream end. Fixed temporarily with gum. • Testing Plans? • SS Modulator Work • EE support has two technicians working on the upgrade • Update?
