  2. Session Outline • Purpose and function of the Protocol Reporter • Minimum PC configuration • Operating the Protocol Reporter – demonstration

  3. The Protocol Reporter Developed by the IAEA to assists States in: • Acquiring information for declarations • Establishing, maintaining and updating a data base • At the State level • At the facility, site or other institutions level • Providing declarations to the IAEA • Conform to the Guidelines • In electronic format • Ensuring quality of the processed information

  4. Software Status • Protocol Reporter v. 1.0 software reflects the previous version of the Guidelines • Protocol Reporter v. 2.0 is released and being distributed to States since February 2009 • New requirements collected from States implemented • Current version of the Guidelines implemented • Known limitations of Version 1 corrected

  5. Minimum Installation Configuration for Version 2 • PC with Pentium type processor • Current version can be installed on the following Windows operating systems • 2000 SP4 • XP SP2 • Vista • 1 GB of RAM • Monitor supporting 800x600 or greater resolution with at least 256 colors

  6. Prerequisites for Installation of Version 2 • Prerequisites for installation for Windows Vista: • SQL Server Express 2005 SP 2 • Prerequisites for installation for Windows XP SP2: • Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 • SQL Server Express 2005 SP 2 • Prerequisites for installation for Windows 2000 SP2 requires the above and MDAC v 2.8 • CD with full installation(all components) • User Manual PR2
