Logimatic - Background • Established in 1987 as a consequence of closing down Aalborg Shipyard • Initially the main focus was on electrical engineering for the maritime industry • Logimatic became a highly reputed fast growing company with particular focus on the maritime industry • Developed steadily into a software house. In 1999 the software related activities was > 70% of the company total business • In 1998 a subsidiary was formed - Logimatic IDS A/S • In 2000 Logimatic A/S was split into two companies: Logimatic Engineering A/S and Logimatic Software A/S
