Description of emotion A strong feeling of displeasure, annoyance, and hostility, often resulting from frustration or helplessness.
Associations with anger Pulling out hair, screaming, overreacting, self-destruct, shut down, silent treatment, wrinkles in the forehead, outbreaks, and etc..
Color of Anger Red and black contribute to anger due to high blood pressure and making one irritable.
Defense mechanism Taking anger management classes Think more of others Recognize why you feel angry Take deep breaths and count to ten before reacting. Take a walk in fresh air and calm down
Emotion relation to life Shelbey- I normally get angry when I’m dealing with people. If I end up in an argument or my annoyance level raises. At first I just get frustrated but then it climaxes to anger. Ilana- when I try my best and I am told to push harder for my goal when I hit my limit this makes me frustrated and rages in anger.
