Reproductive System Female Parts • Ovaries-makes eggs • Fallopian Tubes-delivers egg to uterus • Uterus-where the baby grows • Vagina-birth canal Male parts • Testis-where sperm is made • Scrotal sacs-what holds the testis • Vas Deferens-delivers sperm to prostate gland • Prostate gland-where the sperm is held • Seminal vesicle-mixes sperm with seminal fluid • Ejaculatory duct-where it comes out • Penis-where the ejaculatory duct is
Urinary System Female Parts • Kidneys-filters blood • Ureters-delivers fluid waste to bladder • Bladder-where the waste waits • Urethra-where it’s released Male Parts • Kidneys-filters blood • Ureters-delivers fluid waste to bladder • Bladder-where the waste waits • Urethra-where it’s released
Female Male
Summary(reproductive) Female: the eggs are made in the ovaries and once a month, it travels down the fallopian tube to get fertilized. If it doesn’t, it eventually gets flushed out during menstruation, and if it does, then baby rats start to form, and once ready, the rat gives birth. Male: The male reproductive system makes sperm, this happens in the testes, that are in the scrotal sac. When they are made they are sent to the vas deferens to be sent to the prostate so they can be mixed with seminal fluid and sent out through the urethra.
Summary(urinary) The urinary systems of the rat are pretty similar, even though they are different genders. They both have kidneys that filter blood then send the waste to the bladder through the ureter. In the bladder they wait and when it gets full, the waste exits the urethra.
