  2. Who was the involved in the Cold War? Most of the countries in the world were involved however the main 2 nations were the U.S. an the Soviet Union (Russia).

  3. What is the Cold War? The Cold War was a major conflict between the communist nations led by the Soviet Union and the democratic countries that were led by the United States of America. It was fought by the use of political propaganda, economic war, diplomatic negotiations and powerful military interferences.

  4. When did the Cold War take place? All historians are unsure of when the cold war exactly began however it is safe to say that it starts from 1945 and ends around 1991. It started immediately after when the U.S. president at the Piece- Time Conference declared the Truman Doctrine and launched the marshal plan in 1947.   6. Where? The Cold war was fought in all places including neutral countries and newly independent nations and even in outer space.

  7. How did the Cold War Begin? There were strong ideological and economic differences between the U.S. and the Soviet Union before WWII. These differences amplified as a result to their mutual suspicions after WWII. Ideologies: The Unites States of America believed in democracy and the right to free elections however the Soviet Union didn’t and promoted the use of communism instead. Economics: The U.S. Wanted to encourage free trade around the world. The Soviet Union wanted to shield their productions from international commerce.
