Stations September 10 th -September 14 th. Project Overview.

Project Overview Students have designed and are starting to create book marks, key chains, and hair barrettes to sell at the Farmer’s Market. They are creating patterns and using their measuring, money and addition skills to connect to their economic knowledge from our readings in order to prepare for September 29th!
Reading Standards: EL.2.2.5 Restate facts and details to summarize the main idea in the text to clarify and organize ideas. Money, Money! Noise Level 1 • Monday • Choose a book from the bucket about business. • Be sure to check for one that is in your reading level. • Begin reading the book. Writing “Descriptive Words” Noise Level 1 • Gather all materials. • Think about the item(s) that we are producing for the Farmer’s Market. • Use the graphic organizer to write as many words to describe the item as you can. • Use your graphic organizer to write a paragraph describing the item. Think about what you would say in a catalog that would help sell the product. Use as many descriptive words as possible.
