Recommendations • Recommendation: Year-round, splash blend 5% biodiesel in on-site ULSD • State fleet policy • Increases fuel lubricity • Consider using up to B20 for all diesel-powered fleet vehicles during summer months • Low (no) cost option- no engine or fuel system modifications needed for blends up to B20* • Recommendation: Consider Propane Vehicles and Mowers *check the National Biodiesel Board approved list of OEM’s and blend levels
