  2. Skyrimis excellent in itself, but Skyrimmods make the gaming journey so much better, if only for PC players. The whole Elder Scrolls series is so amazing partly because anyone can modify the user interface and change the game world. People have been making changes to the video game since 2002, when Morrowind was introduced. • Skyrim cheats and mods work together, but mods focus on the gaming experience instead of achievements. Mods can make the scenery and characters a lot more hi-def (get rid of annoying blocky facial textures), more interesting (light saber weaponry), more tricky (dragon army invasion) and more amusing (Skyrim laugh track). Some of the finest-and weirdest-Skyrimmods are below: • The 3D topographical map that shows you Skyrim in its entirety is great and the Full 3D Skyrim Map mod makes it even more amazing by letting you to zoom in to “street view”. If you’ve ever used Google Streets, this mod is similar. Or soaring on the back of a dragon throughout Skyrim. • The realm of Skyrim is a graphic treat, but it can be improved upon. The closest you will get to Photoshop for Skyrim is the FXAA Post Injector mod. Included in its vast selection of effects are sepia, sharpen and vignette. Sit back and observe the dull scene turn into a James Kincaid painting. Skyrim’s heavens are definitely awe-inspiring, and would have created a race of astronauts in the real world. For a more bland but realistic perspective, the Enhanced Night Sky turns the heavens into a real-world night sky. The mod uses genuine space pictures that you can personalize.

  3. If there’s one thing players are moaning about in Skyrim, it’s the inventory. Scrolling takes hours and the standard UI is slow. Sky UI de-clutters the inventory, and includes numerous awesome features. You get icons that occupy way less room and a wealth of useful data (including whether something is stolen). The keyword search feature lets you find an item just by entering its name in the box. • Skyrim races get a makeover with a little help from face-lift Skyrim cheat codes. The Detailed Faces mod is designed for cleaning up the blocky angles of beast faces, while the No More Blocky Faces mod is the human/elf equivalent. These mods get rid of the geometric artifacts that distort the skin and face. Star Wars comes to Skyrim with the Magicka Sabers mod. This mod lets you craft different-colored light sabers at the forge from ebony ingots and grand soul gems. Magicka sabers come in one-handed and two-handed designs. • Impractical but awesome nonetheless, this mod is ideal for people who found the battle with Alduin cakewalk. This mod sets loose 50 dragons that strike all at once. You are not guaranteed to survive the encounter, but at least you get to experience a really glorious termination. If anything’s a lot better than the view of Skyrim’s spectacular snow-covered peaks, it’s 2500 cheese wheels tumbling down the mountain. A similar mod does the same thing but with cabbages.
