MITOCHONDRIA By: Diana Gonzalez TyahnaFigueredo
Appearance • MITOCHONDRIA LOOK LIKE LITTLE BEANS. • ENCLOSED BY TWO MEMBRANES. • Mito- means thread and -chondria means grains so they’re Thread-grains…
Location • MITOCHONDRIA IS LOCATED IN THE CYTOPLASM NEAR THE ENDOPLASMIC RECTICULUM INSIDE THE CELL MEMBRANE
What it Does! • MITOCHONDRIA CONVERT CHEMICAL ENERGY FROM FOOD INTO COMPOUNDS THAT ARE MORE CONVINIENT FOR THE CELL (ATP)
AMOUNT PER CELL and IMPORTANCE • Number varies depending on the amount of energy the cell needs. Range from 100 to several thousands. • Mitochondria provides the ENTIRE CELL with energy • Muscle, liver and kidney cells have more because they use ATP at a higher rate. 100 TO 1000+
WHY YOU SHOULD BUY IT! • It’s motherly and who doesn’t love their mother? • It’s energetic • All the cool cells are buying it so why not?!
SPECIAL OFFER! • Act now and get a second one for half the prize. • A $10,000,000 offer for $5,000,000 • Call YingYang Inc in the next 5 minutes at 1-866-yin-yang

Produced by: Madeline Reyes and Annelis Gabriela Rivera Journey to the center of the Cell: The Nucleolus
What is it and what does it look like?! The nucleolus is a small dense region where ribosome synthesis begins.
Where is it and what does it do ?! • The nucleolus is located in the nucleus. • The nucleolus controls the synthesis of proteins in the cytoplasm through the use of messenger RNA (mRNA).
How many nucleoli are found in each cell and why is it important? • There is one, sometimes more, found in the cell. • The nucleolus supplies RNA and produces ribosomes. This is important because Ribosomes are needed for protein synthesis.
Why should YOU buy it ??? • For one thing, why NOT buy it? Without its services there can be no Ribosomes to create the proteins needed for the daily functions of most organelles. Not to mention that most enzymes are proteins, so the reactions needed for life functions would go too slowly to support life without the Ribosomes that the nucleolus creates!
Hurry up while supplies last. It comes free with every cell!!!!! Call 1-888-nucleolus

The Nucleus • Noyan Darici • Liam Gibb
What is the Nucleus? • The Nucleus is the head honcho or brains of the cell. • It contains of the DNA and hereditary information
Where Is It ? • The Nucleus is located in the center of the cell.
How many per cell? • There is only one nucleus per cell.
What does it do? • The nucleus controls all functions of the cell.
Why is it important? • The nucleus is important because it controls the cell and it ensures that cell copying is carried out correctly.
Why would a consumer buy it? • The nucleus is a million for the price of one! Order now as all copies are free!
THECELL WALL BY: jenny poon And Jeffrey tjok 10/7/09 Period 4
What is the organelle? The organelle that we are selling is the cell wall.
What does the cell wall look like? It looks like a brick wall, but much smaller and it has holes in which certain things may pass through.
Where is the cell wall located? It is located behind the cell membrane and the cytoplasm. It’s at the edge of the cell so anything that touches the cell, touches the cell wall first.
What does the cell wall do? It’s function is to keep the structure of the cell it surrounds up and to allow objects to come in and out of the cell.
How many cell wall are there per wall? There is only one cell wall per cell, and that refers to plants, algae, fungi, and other prokaryotes. Animal cell do not have cell walls.
Why is the cell wall important? The cell wall is important because of its function of structure and allowing the transport of certain particles through its holes.
Why would you the, consumer, want to buy it? You would need to buy it since it is a basic necessity like sunlight and water! It also guards the entrance to the cell and keeps the cell structure correct so cell life can work normal.
Payment! ☺ We do not sell the cell wall for $42.99, but we do sell the cell wall FOR 14 EASY PAYMENTS OF $42.99!! Please call 1-800-CELL-WALL To purchase one from us today!
