  2. Submitted Preferred Alternative • Project is broken into eight phases for construction. Work north of SR 562 is on ODOT’s TRAC Tier II. • The submitted preferred alternative recommended the addition of one lane in each direction on I-75, and improvements to the Hopple, I-74/75, Mitchell, Norwood Lateral, and Paddock interchanges on I-75, and the improvements to the Colerain/Beekman interchange on I-74. • The following six slides depict the interchange recommendations

Current Status / Next Steps • Final Public Hearing on Environmental Assessment set for February 10, 2009. • Interchange Modification Study in review by FHWA • FONSI anticipated by April 1, 2009 • Detailed Design and R/W acquisition underway for Phases 1 and 2 • Advanced Acquisition of relocation parcels for phases 3 and 4 will beginning in Spring 2009 • Detailed Design for Phases 3, 4, and 6 beginning Summer 2009
