Overview of existing biodiversity indicators Review the current state of play regarding the development and implementation of biodiversity indicators in the West Balkan countries and how they relate to the SEBI set. Sources of information: The review of the biodiversity related indicators and/or topics included in the 4th National Reports to the CBD of all the countries; Information gathered through internet search; The country assessments of the European environment – state and outlook 2010; The results of the Eionet consultation on the SEBI process: outcomes, lessons learned and future challenges (held in May 2011).

  4. Overview of existing biodiversity indicators Note: Several countries have environmental and/or sectoral indicators that could be relevant to the SEBI set. However, considering the scope of this overview, these additional sources have not been analysed. This workshop an opportunity to update and complement the list, identify additional sources of information
